NAET – Numbudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique

The following is a short explanation of the Numbudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique (NAET) and Traditional Chinese NAET by Dr.SelcovaMedicine (TCM) treatments for different forms of allergy disorders. According to the newest clinical researches allergies (food, environmental, pollen, etc.) may be eradicated using appropriate diagnostic and curing techniques. In 21st century there is no reason to suffer from allergic reaction. Our innovative methods (NAET, Acupuncture, NET, etc.) can help you to get rid of these conditions once and forever. Does it sounds like “Too good to be true”? I agree, but surprisingly it is true and NAET in conjunction with TCM would really help you to start enjoying your healthy life.

So, what allergy means and what is the mechanism of this medical disorder?

Allergic reaction is one of the utmost mutual enduring disorders in the world. The symptoms of this condition as well as patients’ complains may be so different that some patients experience minor skin rush and other have life threatening outbreaks.

Based on the researches performed by the primary professionals in allergy, this disease initiates in the immune structure of the body, which supposed to safeguard the organism from the invasion of worms, microorganisms, and toxins. This element (worm, bacteria, virus, toxin, etc.) is known as allergen. In case of allergic reaction immune system mistakenly reacts excessively considering non-harmful element as an allergen and fabricating antibodies of Immunoglobulin, which concentrates in the blood and flow from one part of the body to another stimulating cells to produce histamine, which initiates allergic process.

Allergy Symptoms.

The most common localization of allergy symptoms:

  • ENT system;
  • Pulmonary system;
  • Stomach mucosa and the rest of GI tract;

In some cases, allergic process in pulmonary system can initiate bronchial asthma. In some patients the allergic process may develop in the most severe form – anaphylaxis. The severity of the allergic reaction may depend on type of allergens, which are causing it.

The most known allergens are:
•    Herbal and flowers pollen;
•    Dirt;
•    Nutrients;
•    Creature’s bites;
•    Products of animals’ life;
•    Fungus;
•    Drugs;
•    Latex.

Allergic conditions can simulate different medical disorders and for that reason are frequently misdiagnosed. Uncured allergic reaction cause a speedy development of the process, upsurge in the harshness of present disorders and minimize a chance for recovery. Medical researches shows that it is very important that an individual that suffers from any kind of allergic condition gets analyzed and healed for allergies at the earliest stage even if symptoms are unaffected by classic western medical procedures.

Also, allergy often exacerbates the development of some existing medical disorders:

  • Pulmonary system (bronchitis, asthma, chronic pneumonia, emphysema);
  • GI tract (gastritis, acid reflux, ulcer of the stomach’s and duodenum’s lining, Dysbacteriosis, etc.);
  • Genital and Urinary structures (interstitial cystitis, urethritis, endometriosis, vaginitis, etc.);
  • Skin (dermatitis, psoriasis, eczema);
  • Joints and soft tissues (fibromyalgia, arthritis, myositis, bursitis);
  • Central nervous system (depressions, panic attacks, multiple sclerosis).

Allergies may worsen and initiate ADHD, learning disability, anxiety, and mood swings.

How we get exposed to allergens?

Allergens are everywhere around us and almost any element may become an allergen.

Many allergens come to our body while we breathing in the form of dust, pollen and chemicals.

Some allergens get inside our body as a result of physical contact throughout the skin, eyes, hair, nose, oral cavity, bronchi and mucous membranes (cleaning chemicals, body wash and lotions, textiles).

Another very common source of allergens is food (food products and liquid refreshments as well as dietary supplements and pharmaceutical medicines, vaccines; and creams made from snakes, and other animal products)

Based on the principles of the Traditional Chinese Medicine, allergens originate obstructions in the meridians and decreases the circulation of the Qi energy throughout the organism. The limited Qi exchange causes disproportions of the Qi concentration in channels and in corresponding organs or structures and weakens their functionality. This loss of functionality causes a number of corporeal, physical and emotional symptoms:

  • Discomfort, Aching;
  • Swelling, Irritation, Tenderness, Redness, Sourness;
  • Anxiety, depressions, etc.

Traditional Chinese Medicine cures allergies by removing the obstacles that cause obstruction of energy flow to reestablish balanced Qi concentration and stabilize the wellness of the body. The higher the level of the obstruction, the longer treatment will take and the more procedures are necessary to reinstate the normal body’s functionality.

It’s a known fact in medicine that the allergies are the long-lasting conditions and in majority of cases a complete elimination of the allergic reaction is not possible using traditional methods of western medicine.

What is NAET?

NAET – the Nambudripad’s Allergy Eliminating Technique developed by Dr. Devi Nambudripad, D.C.

NAET is one of the most effective treatments and in many case the best cure for allergy.

Dr. Nambudripad established NAET based on the combination of Traditional Chinese Medicine (acupuncture and herbology), modern chiropractic techniques and current findings and discoveries of the American Energy medicine. Using this method Dr. Nambudripad first tested this cure on herself when she eliminated severe food allergy in her immune system. Then, using NAET, she was able to treat thousands of patients in her clinic in New Delhi, India. Besides the manual and scientific articles about NAET, Dr. Devi Nambudripad’s wrote and published the book “Say Goodbye to Illness” that describes their treatment in simple words.

Testing in NAET.

For diagnostic purposes NAET practitioners use neuromuscular sensitivity testing (NST). This test developed based on a science of movement of the human body. This science also known as Kinesiology. During the NST procedure practitioner forces the patient to contact some specific substances which are suspicious to cause allergic reaction. While contacting the substance the muscular strength of the patient’s arm may diminish if the patient is sensitive to the substance he/she is contacting at the time of testing.

After the testing a NAET practitioner uses special techniques to eliminate allergic sensitivity to the allergen. Only one allergen per procedure may be eliminated. The NAET technique is 100% natural, pain free and drug free treatment.

Traditional Chinese Medicine philosophies recognize the significance of preserving homeostasis in the organism. The TCM understand a disease as a disbalance of homeostasis and energy flow in the organs and meridians of the body. Contrary Traditional Chinese Medicine philosophy stays that when the organism is perfectly balanced it is not vulnerable to bacteria, toxins, allergens, etc. That’s why acupuncture becomes a part of complexed NAET treatment. I usually used in the beginning of treatment to eliminate any energy flow blockages after which allergy elimination process takes place.

NAET treatment by Olga Selcova, LAc

Use of NAET requires a special education which is not widely available neither in USA nor in other countries. The NAET classes usually take place once a year in California and can accept not more than 50 students. Only medical practitioners MD, DO, DS, LAc etc. may attend this classes and be certified for treatment using NAET.

Dr. Selcova recently completed a fellowship program in NET, NST and NAET and successfully uses these techniques in her everyday medical practice.
